  Frederick Erskine Pine was my Grandfather who served as a guard in the Wars I+II. He received great medals and passed on 18 years ago. I'd love to learn more about his honors.

  I respect that everyone here loves the people that are serving us because my cousin is in the Navy and my uncle is in the army in afghanastan so i really respect that you guys respect them.

  i would also like to say i come from a family of uncles, cousins and grandfathers who fought in the military.

For those who speak badly about army and navy fighters i woud like to say this, you go out on the front line and have death at your door step, be a centimetere from death then come back and see what you say. My sister and brother in law are currently serving in the navy. My brother and other brother in law are serving in the army and i would like to say how proud i am of them for fighting for us and our country xx

  i think world war 1+2 is so interesting to read it about. To of lived in that kind of life must of been horrifying yet spectacular, its so fascinating to read about and so interesting to.

  my grandfather fought with the Canadian 102nd battalion at the battle of the Somme, Verdun , Vimy Ridge and Passchendale and lived to return to his family in BC. These websites help me to understand what he went through
